Trail BuildingGateway East Trails is involved with the planning, design, construction and fundraising to develop new multi-use trails and cycling-safe routes in the region. The Trestle Trail, opened to the public in 2018, is our first completed project connecting the town of Lebanon, IL with the county road network to the south and east of town.

Future Trails |
Gateway East Trails has several trails in the concept and planning stages:
- A combined trail and bike route connection along Reider Road from the west end of the planned Trolley Trail across Interstate 64 to Wherry Road.
- A combined trail and bike route connection from Lebanon to Mascoutah, Illinois.
